I’m Susanne- Sue to most, and in some circles, Rahima. I both love the process of learning, it is challenging. I’m interested in the challenges as much as the outcomes.

I’m a student, a counsellor, and a mother. I’m aging and young at the same time. I’m confident and sometimes shaky. I fail and I succeed. I’m mostly unafraid of being wrong. I’m comfortable with not knowing, even though I sometimes think I know – only to reflect and realise that I don’t. And sometimes I think I don’t know something, only to discover that I do.

I’m an experiential learner, working on cultivating an academic lens. I’ve made friends with learning because I’ve had to do so much of it along the way. I love the ordinary, the easeful, and the simple – the breath, the feeling of being in my own skin, the quiet relaxation that comes with getting older, and the sense that being nothing is sometimes exactly right.

I study to grow, and I grow to be in service. I love working with people and look forward to stretching in new ways.
