The act of reflection supports both personal growth and learning. This page is a space to pause, make sense of experiences, and reflect on how learning shapes me both as a person and as a developing counsellor.

Learning Portfolio.
Musing, contemplating, daydreaming, wondering, doubting, guessing, intuiting, criticizing, learning: all these states of mind and many more might be evoked when we ask ourselves what we are doing in reflective moments. Dallas, R., & Stedmon, J., 2009.
Reflecting on Reflection
Reflective practice isn’t automatically good or helpful. We need to think critically about what it really means and how we do it. It can help us see things in new ways, but we also need to ask why we are reflecting, who it’s for, and who might be looking at or assessing four reflections (Dallos & Stedmon, 2009, p. 4).
